There’s No Place Like Home…

I met Callie in college.  Fast forward a decade later (& numerous ornery activities/trips) she is still my best friend.  Callie has never been one to take a back seat or let anyone tell her who/what exactly she is supposed to be, which is what I love about her.  Last year, she did what many people dream of doing but lack the guts.  She quit her desk job, moved to San Francisco and started her own company.  It sounds exciting and glamorous, but I can tell you she worked her pretty little a@s off to get to where she is today.  And where is that, exactly?  To a point where her business is booming and she needs to increase her kitchen space and staff…..BACK HOME IN THE MIDWEST!  Can you tell I’m just a little excited to have my best friend back here?!  You can read all about why she is moving on her blog.  Also, check out Rawxies on facebook to keep up to speed on where you can buy her delicious Rawxies.  *Confession: I bought the last pack of the mint chocolate chip at the Merc in Lawrence Monday!*

Anyway, she was in town last week and we got to catch up AND do a photos shoot (complete with Rawxies and wine, of course)!  Take a look at my gorgeous (and business-savvy) friend.

I love you!!!! That was such a sweet post – had I not been laughing thinking about all of the trouble we’ve dodged over the years, I would have easily busted out in tears! I’m so fortunate to have such a wonderful best friend – I honestly couldn’t ask for anyone more perfect than you! Thanks again! I can’t wait till I’m home and we are back causing trouble on a regular basis <3ReplyCancel
